Is Pinteterest good for link building?

Pinterest can be used for anything that you can turn into an attractive visual - the more attractive the more likely it is to be pinned. Trouble is, their internal searches give a lot of weight to established pinners - for new pinners, even if you post quality pins, they can get lost quickly.

I don't think they carry a ton of SEO weight, but you can also get some decent traffic from them --- it's worth a little time/effort.

I am getting lots and lots of traffic from Pinterest. Now when I write and post an article on my website, I pin any of the relevant pictures. Pinterest is totally visual, so you have to make sure your photos are really appealing.

A sidenote: since I started on Pinterest, I go over there every day sometimes several times a day. I am getting a little addicted to it

I think pinterest is a great place for marketing or link building.It is simple that photo including link is very effective than normal(without photo)link.
