How to increase Google Adsense CPC?

    I have already asked this question in other forums but no one seems want to answer my question.

    The thing here is I have been struggling recently with my Google Adsense earnings. I have a pretty good amount of organic traffic but my problem is my CPC is very low, nearly about $0.10 per click. I'm focusing on one specific niche per site. But my problem is my site is gaining traffic from a very low paying keyword with a high traffic. I guess this is where my very low earnings come from. When I checked my Analytics accounts, I found out that most of my visitors are searching for that very low paying keyword, next is my targeted keyword which supposedly pays higher. What can you suggest should I do?

    Please help me. You can visit my site in my sig. I am very much open to any comments and suggestions you can make on how can I increase my cpc.

    Thanks!

    Hi, My Suggestion is Some people do not like image, Rich media ads in their blog posts, because they expect adsense ads to show like a link (text link). In my experience, image and multi media ads works well in all the places. If you have Text only ads, make them to image and text. You can see the different in next two weeks. I experimented several times and several places, then decided image and text ads works well. Google highly recommends Image and Text ads.

    Don't use images. Only use text. Where are you clicks coming from? Most ads get the highest CPC from USA and UK. Do keyword research, write about a topic with high CPC to start with.

    Hi Daweel.....

    Although CPC depends upon location of your traffic source but still you can do some tweak.
    Reduce the number of ads unit you are using on your blog or website as using maximum number of ad unit dilute the CPC competition and low cost ads get chance to appear on your blog.
    Target Audiance from US/UK/Australis\a, these are high CPC geographical locations.

    @aumshah

    I'll take that into consideration changing my ads to display both image and text ads.

    @camuk

    Most of my traffic came from US, but I also have a huge amount of traffic from Peru.

    @xtrashots9

    My homepage is serving only one ad unit while my pages are serving 2 the same ad units, do you think I also need to tweak my page and make it serve only 1 ad unit?
