There is no special trick applies for a job site. It is same as you optimise other niche site.

If you are using wordpress, install ALL IN ONE SEO, configure it and you are ready for off page.

for off page optimisation, start with directory submission to get site off the ground. Then start building links through blog posts, article submissions, PR submissions, social bookmarking.

 

You must do off page activities as per below points

- Choose the niche website for directory submission, Social bookmarking, as per your perfect category.
- Find blogs as per your website category like Jobs blogs with high page rank and do commenting on it.
- You find Forums related to Job and make forum posting in to that.
- Write a high quality blog on Job and submit in to high page rank best article submission sites ans same work in Press release.
- You can find the Classified from your local area with perfect category and submit your information in those websites.
- Always use High page rank and Do follow websites for all off page activities.

That crap is not SEO. Stop reading DP for SEO advice should be step one.

There are 2 types of SEO, on page and off page. in off page you must care must use H1 in your title and strong title, description and keywords in site.

 

Obviously trying to raise your post count is obvious. If you are going to do so at least bother reading the thread please.
