Can anybody tell me about writing title tag for each pages

 

How to optimize the image tag because Image/flash is not seo friendly for Google.

 

One thing I will add here that I know to be critical to success is when using meta tag description. I have found it is more important to have a coherent description, that does not need to be stuffed with keywords. And here is why. If you stop and think about it the description is the only chance you will ever have to entice the person doing the search to choose your site over others to click on. So the content of that text all 156 short character must be maximized with one thing in mind. What will entice that person to click on your site over the others shown This means in my case when I am doing SEOP for a customer, I research every single competitor that is on the first two or three pages and what they are saying in their meta tag description. Then since most of the jobs I do are for local companies I will then go to several major cities in the US and look at the first page results of those cities trying to see what is working best for all the different cities. From all of this research I am generally able to put together a description that does one thing and does it very well. It entices people to click on my page over any other page listed. And that is the bottom line. You must first of course do all the necessary SEO work to get your site to that first page of results. But once you are there this (meta tag description) becomes the single most critical factor in having a successful web site that generates traffic.

When you start doing onpage of a website, Put Descriptive Title, use keywords that has low competition and more searches, add description upto 170 char, use header tags and add fresh, unique and enough content on site, use 2% to 3% keyword density, avoid broken links in content.

I actually thought Penguin was more about backlinks... At least I got this impression.

As for on-page, I think there are two types of cases:
1. When you're trying to avoid penalties
2. When you're trying to rank your site higher

To avoid penalties, I'd recommend:
- To avoid duplicates (in titles, page copy, etc.)
- To avoid keyword stuffing (I normally use onpage optimization software to see how many keywords high-rankings site use per page on average)
- To avoid hidden text, cloaking and such.

To rank higher in the SERPs, I'd recommend you:
- To have enough well-written, engaging content on your site;
- To try to post only original content;
- To use keywords (wisely, see above) in headings, bold text, in the beginning of paragraphs, and in text;
- To use diverse anchor texts for internal (as well external) links;
- To keep your XML sitemap updated;
- To make sure the web site is free from coding errors and broken links;
- To make sure search engines can canonicalize your pages without a problem.
