    Hi Guys,

Just recently I have begun selling books/ebooks via the Kindle platform (other platforms as well). I am really starting to see some mild success bringing in several hundred dollars a month. This seems to have some great potential to scale into thousands of dollars every month especially with the growing popularity of tablet devices. Since I have always looked to Digital Point as a great source of information I was curious if anyone else had some tips on how to succeed and promote products within this market.

    I am looking specifically for:

-Resources on how to promote ebooks on tablet devices.
-The best tablet and non-tablet ebook promotion sites.
    -Marketing resources and strategies.
-How to successfully sell these products.
-How to research potential hot selling topics/titles.

Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

Good ol' Google, that's my advice...I know it doesn't help much but since no one else answered I thought I'd give it a shot.

Pick a day on your calendar that co-inside with a major event that is related to your topic. For example; if your topic is about vintage cars then you can create a “Vintage Car” Appreciation Day.

Another example: If your topic is about eBooks, then you could announce an “eBook” Appreciation Day.

Once you have created this special day then you will want to match it to a major related event and send out press release about one month before the day starts. As it will be a topical news item you will increase the chances of a media outlet picking up the story and running with it.

You will want to dedicate this day to a group of people for recognition and support.
