I'm just not sure about this one. It's certainly different than the others. I think maybe it's too "loose" but I'm no expert. Seems like too much white space.

 

This one is really working nicely I think. There's a lot I like about it. But I still feel like something is missing with the B. I like the white on black. I like the circle. I'm just not loving the B font or how it is styled. Maybe it's too modern. Something about it is distracting. If you have any really fancy caligrphy fonts or ones that look like early printing press? Maybe that kind would play off of the other modern elements of this logo.

As for what I've seen so far this is the logo to beat. Feel free to send any changes via PM if you want to keep your ideas private.

I like the type work. But the B and L inside the circle seems a little bit off. A few people have tried to build something out of the L. I feel like it's not as important as the B (for Banm). I'd probably rather see a really cool stylized B then a blend of B and L. LLC should probably be the same size as the rest of the first line. I do really like how the Maryland and District of Columbia fit in at the bottom. Thanks.

This is my 2nd entry.

 

Provided I hear back from the artist within 48 hours then he (or she) is the winner. This design is clean and readable. It isn't fancy and it doesn't feature any extra letters or unimportant clutter. It is tight and worthy of my business, I think.

I would like to thank everyone who posted an entry. The quality was very high I think.

Second place goes to coolwanz. His design was totally excellent. Coolwanz: I have a second project for you to design. If you are willing to work with me through a few revisions with the same spirit you have shown in this contest then I will pay you the same amount as the prize in this contest as a fee for your work. Contact me through PM if you are interested. This is my way of saying that you worked the hardest and did the best at following directions. You did great work. But Porterek submitted one entry and somehow hit the nail right on the head. I have no idea how good overall he (or she) is.
