What is the html code to make horizontal boxes i need to make some boxes go from left to right but all i can find is on top of each other, you can see example here <a href="http://www.carinsurancequotesinformation.com&quot;>car insurance quotes</a> where the boxes are next to each other, and will this affect the page width on my site.
Someone told me use DIV tags but how do i put this in HTML code?.

 

I strongly urge you to stop now and learn CSS.

Using HTML tables is no longer a good way to code websites. Your friend was correct in suggesting you use DIVs, this will come hand-in-hand with CSS and honestly, taking the time to learn it will benefit you hugely in the future.

HTML Code is used for the designing the page and websites.in html code use the Tag<>,font,background color etc.hml code is easy to design the page.HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites.It can embed script in languages such as Java Script which affect the behavior of HTML.

It can be a struggle to get sensible CSS columns...I think I do it a slightly different way every time I go about implementing it. It usually isn't much trouble but I've had to look up this article recently and it seems pretty robust:

The example there is for 3 columns but it can't be too hard to generalize it to X.
