    cristinabrown36,

The ideal keyword to use in your H1 tag is your primary keyword. Your secondary keywords should go lower in your content, for example in your H2, H3, or H4 headings. Make sure that you only use your H1 tag once on each page of content. It also should be clear that your H1 heading is relevant to the rest of the content. There are some great tips in these posts:

    Hope this helps,

    Shawn

I normally use a meta tag for keywords and meta description to describe what the blog is all about.

Place main keyword in H1 tag and have generic keywords in the alt tag of the image, would certainly help you to get great results.

Use H1 tag as your primary keyword and do not keyword stuffing in the alt tag, use the keyword variation in alt tag.

Heading tags (e.g., <h1>, <h2>, etc.) specify the topic of sections or paragraphs on a page. It is helpful to think about them like headlines in a newspaper and they should be written in much the same way. It's unclear how much additional SEO value they have now, but Heading tags have traditionally been weighted more than standard text by search engines. For that reason, you should build your pages to include Headings with high priority keywords.
