Does Alexa Rankings Or Page Rank Effect Adsense Earnings

is it like if the page rank is good then high paying ads are shown etc etc

or does it all depend on keywords and content of the site

I've heard Google PR affects your Adsense earnings, but I'm not completely sure.
Alexa rank doesn't affect it in anyway, though.

    Nope.
It depends most probably on the High paying keywords.
But after lot of MFA sites built on high paying keywords, They have also become low paying now :(
There was a time where mesothelioma click gave 35$ and now 0.035$ due to lot of spamming of adsense.

Yes it is keyword related as well as perceived site authority for CPM campaigns.

From my observation, origin of click affects your CPC. Click from US generally gives you higher CPC.

Its not that clicks from US are high ; It all depends on Which country does the advertiser (google adwords user) want to target.
If he is from london, then you will get more CPC from clicks originating from uK.

the only thing that will affect your earnings is how much an advertiser is willing to pay and how likely it is for this click to convert according to google

I think the question is too narrow, though. You need to expand the question if you're really looking to properly monetize your site.

Your question is Do third-party rankings affect your adsense income? The answer, as others have said, is no.

But as I said, that question is too narrow. Don't have all your eggs in one basket. The proper question is do third-party rankings affect your overall income? The answer there is a big yes!

If you do the safe thing, you'd also look to other forms of income. I like AdSense, some affiliate links (Amazon, etc), and some forms of directly-sold ads. My Text-Link-Ads links are greatly affected by PR and Alexa, so much so that a slight movement in Alexa brought me 400% more income through TLA and other such direct-ads campaigns. When my Alexa ranking dropped on one site by almost 30%, the TLA ads also dropped -- almost 200%.

I find it very advantageous to have a high Alexa ranking. One of my sites is consistently in the top 100,000, and it sells well in third-party direct-ad buying campaigns. One site is in the top 300,000 usually, and I always sell out ads, or at least 8/10 or 9/10. This income alone accounts for a high 5-figures a year with ZERO work and a lot of repeat business. It is much more consistent than AdSense in that regard.

I would never stick with just AdSense or YPN or any type of advertising, in fact I am redesigning 99% of my sites to allow my registered users to disable ads entirely through their control panel. Why? They're not interested in ads, so their removal of the AdSense ads allows my eCPM to go up. This also allows my non-registered visitors to be my monetizing side, but my regular visitors spend a lot of time on my sites, so they are the ones who help my Alexa (and PR) rankings which sells more direct-ad buys.

No relation. However, in theory, at least, higher Alexa rankings mean you have higfher traffic, therefore, more clicks.

google is working on a new plan where the quality of the ads will be related to the quality of your website ... but for the moment i think PR or alexa ranking doesn t affect the ads displayed on your website ... the origin of the clicks might be different though.. i have always high payment for clicks coming from USA or europe and very loooooow when it s coming from africa (same thing with firefox and picasa 1 dollar USA , 0.1 dollar others :)) ..
