Are you allowed to post a link to your ecommerce site in yahoo answers?

Would I get banned if I answered questions related to my niche and posted a link to my eCommerce site in the link box. I have been banned from yahoo answers before and don't want to get banned again.

I think that's the best way to use yahoo answere, but don't you need a certain amount of posts before hand?

Anyway if the questions is related to your niche then I personally see nothing wrong with it and it should count as a great backlink :)

Don't do posting like spamming. If you give useful and correct answer I think you wouldn't ban. But be sincere when you drop your your link.

I didn't use YA for a while, but in the past I was linking to my site without any consequences. Of course, the answers were to the topic and quite good.

I agree with others, it should be fine as long as the information you're posting is useful.

yes right, but sometimes we are posting comments which are related to our work and in correct forum, but again due to response from other users we got banned,i had face such a problem where i was given the excuse that some users complained that i am posting spams, where as i had posted only 2 comments, written to the administrator also but till date got no response.

Agreed. As long as your link to your e commerce site is related to the question and you don't spam. You should be fine.
