Do you find buying facebook fans useful?

I've heard a lot about people buying facebook fans to establish social proof on their fan pages.

While I'm not currently a fan of this strategy, I feel I'd be doing myself a disservice if I didn't get more information about it.

Can anyone share any experiences they've had using purchased fans in order to acquire and increase their real fan base?

 

Nope to me they were completely useless...
It just makes your site seem more popular the best way is to get fans by yourself

 

I think it totally defeats the purpose of social media marketing. I'd rather have a few but genuine fans than a lot of spambots liking and commenting on my page.

 

It doesn't matter how many likes you have, if you don't engage your audience and get them interacting, any like is useless! I have purchased likes in the past and have gotten fairly good results when I engage them.

Buying fans on facebook will be good then you get fans in targeted area and your should be update with your fans liking commenting and tell them about your business this type of thing will you trusty in market.

 

Facebook is always a good place for social interaction.Buying fans will increase the interest to your page .Poeple may like pages with thousand of fans not one with ten .

Good point. But, I thought the fans you are buying are bots? So, that means you actually buy real people?

 

The likes you get are not targeted - they may not even be interested in your niche. So in that sense, no.
However for aesthetics, you may want your site to appear popular. That the only benefit I see but still not worth a cent from me

 

I fully disagree. I have done few facebook campains, and the fan numbers has increased a lot. Simultaneously the visitors and purchases on my website also were grown too.

I think the best strategy is to invest in marketing in multiple areas a small butget rather than a lot of money in 1.

 

may be i have a strategey for you : buy fans to page X then try to fillter them by asking them to like page Y ... it will be usufull like that

Why buying fans, are you guys not capable of providing over the top content to your audience. Focus on content and the rest will take care itself.

 

Facebook is all about targeting right audience, because if you don't know where and how to search, then your budget will be spend useless

 

if you buy face book fans, these people and fans will not get any interest in your content and products. so do the work normally and never try to buy fans.

 

I disagree totally. Is not buying fans, is putting advertisement on facebook that make people can be interested become fan. And that speed up the fans amount and is very useful.

 

the majority of the websites or people selling fans are fake. but you can use websites like : SocilaAdr, Social Monkey where real webmasters sharing likes and tweets between them and hopefully their friends can join you.

Buying is not a good idea. It doesn't work in long run. You better work by yourself to gain more and more fans.
