    Axis bank debit card( usually given with salary accounts) works to verify paypal , but it never worked for me to make transactions from paypal. I dont know the news " All debit cards accepeted as this topic creator claims" Will ask one of my friends to do the testing with different bank debit cards.

    Not any Axis bank debit card, this one International Gold Debit Card which is given to Premium Salary account customers is the one as far i know.

    Yes, it never stopped working for me. I keep doing transactions time to time via netsafe with paypal or without paypal on international sites.

    Really good job by paypal. I know how i used to suffer to transfer funds when i didn't had a credit card and debit cards are not accepted in paypal. Hope the doors are now open to many people without ccards in India to use paypal with their debit cards.

    Yes, if its a normal limited account then VCC should work. I have tried it on few accounts, and it helped.
