How come that is? I have a anime forum that has been up about a month now and my question to you guys is since the forum has over 2,000 posts on it how is it that only 130 urls are showing as indexed in Google webmasters?

It could be because of your sitemap, or maybe Google just hasn't quite indexed them all yet but are getting around to it.

Google takes time to index all your web pages or maybe your website is new.

    Add a sitemap...

    Go to Webmaster Tools...

    Add your site...

    Submit the sitemap....

It's pretty common for not all pages to be indexed particularly with forum based sites. Google will start to index more of your pages over time. A month isn't a long time.

It need some time. If you have more quality backlink to help in crawling, the faster you get indexed
By the way, the uniqueness of the post/thread is also one of the factor to get indexed

I suggest re-submitting your site through tools like Attracta and rebuilding a complete sitemap and adding it to Google webmaster tools.

You can review your Robots.txt file.

If there are some sections of your forum site which has been blocked through robots.txt then your indexing problem will remain forever untill you don't correct them.

I have the same problem and it is still a mystery. I seems like google add a few pages of your websites whenever it feels want to. I wish they provide a better understanding.

Sometimes Google isn't interested in indexing all forum posts. If you can just try to optimize inner linking. Check robots.txt file, check your meta, check if your links are dofollow.
