    It looks new - Hopefully Mod_Rewrite should be used at somepoint in the future...

    I didn't even look to be honest though (Man, I must be slacking ; )

    You will need to rewrite the code to make it worth while - unless its actually sending decent traffic out.

    Thanks for all that dont worry i will be pulling some strings to get traffic through and the site spiders well in other search engines e.g. google, yahoo, Netscape. that i have noticed with my other directory http://wbcentral.uni.cc

    Please add links to the directory.

    You're going to have a lot of trouble getting submissions with so few categories defined. I tried to submit a site to what should be a fairly high directory level (baseball), but because--

    Sports & Recreation > Sports

    --stops there, no go. I don't want a listing in "Sports", I want it in "Sports > Baseball", and I'm not going to "suggest a category", then wait around to hear that it's been created.

    Possibly you can offer catagory creation as part of the submision, with the submission put on hold till you can check the category for suitableness; but it's got to all be part of a one-step process.
