I would keep my hands off, especially from such a site

    mywindows8themes.com

That screams MALWARE/VIRUS if you ask me.

Also: Shell patching can break your installation. I suggest you do a google search (choose a more respectable site), look for a installation guide, back-up your data and try it..

I hate modification that can crash my system. You can pay for upgrade on Windows 8 after October when the full Windows 8 version comes out.
Some modification like Windows 8 theme for Windows 7 cause trouble if your Windows 7 crash for some other reasons because you can not repair system that have modificated system files. This is my experience from previous versions of Windows.

I think there is no problem by installing the windows 8 themes in windows 7 because the themes just change the appearance of the themes not the entire OS so it is safe.

It is 100% safe, but themes must be from reliable source.

I'll suggest you upgrade to Windows 8 before installing any Windows 8 themes.

I'll have to agree with GMF:"That screams MALWARE/VIRUS if you ask me.".

Why don't you try and download it, run and scan your antivirus first while opening the file. Never install anything you think is suspicious, it might contain any virus/malware.
