    Hey friend i bought domain from justhost and then i cancelled my hosting package with them but i continued the domain, now i can access to my domain using pipedns.com but how will i renew my domain? I asked JustHost they want EPP key i dont even have that.

    best is to transfer it to other registrar. ask them to unlock the domain and give the EPP key

    one of the reason why we should not buy domain with hosting companies

    You will need to buy it for the 100 years and let it be there for the rest of your life but you need to pay around 9$ x 100= $900 for 100 years. This will let ur domain earn u life time.

    Why would you want to register a domain for your lifetime anyways? Seems like it'd be better to test it for 1-3 years and see if the site works out than to drop that much money on something that might not earn you anything in return.

    Very true... and for the same reason, you cannot have the same for life time. Things one get on lease... has a fixed time period and you can only look to renew the lease... each time!

    well, you don't really lease it I think. It's more of a maintenance fee, you own the domain and you can sell it and do whatever you want with it, as long as there are no TM issues.

    You are not allowed buy lifetime domain names. You can do that max for 10 years
