Webmaster Tools Question

    Hi all,


    I've been using Google Wemaster Tools and Google Analytics for me website since April.Suddenly today Webmaster tools is saying my site isn't verified, my analytics code can't verify my site because its in the wrong place (though its working OK) and I need to verify my account again.


    Anybody know what could have happened?

    You need to place the google.html verification code in the root destination of your website.

    so if this file is removed then the verification of you as owner will be lost.

    so download that file and upload to your root folder then click verify after you add the site again.

    Thanks. :)Well it turned out I'd got the Google Analytics code in the wrong part of my page. I put it in the <head> </head> section and was then able to verify my webmaster tools account.


    Why I had this problem after six months of everything smoothly, I'm still not sure.

    Best way to verify your google webmaster tool account is to upload verification html file on your server.
