I agree that Google is so popular in the whole world. But some times I get better results with Yahoo or Bing and I can see that Google's search results are compromised by lots of marketers and spammers...

But I do not think Google will ever go down any time soon. However it can happen as we are seeing things happening before our eyes- like Facebook becoming number one passing its competitors in short 5 years.

As of now Google has enough money, and popularity to crush any competition, whether it be now or in the future. Like it or not they are definitely here to stay for a while. How many other search engines are integrated into cell phones (Android OS)? One day a new giant may emerge, but not anywhere in the near future.

Maybe someday if there is another Search engine that spend billions of dollars in order to defeat Google. But this time, Google is enjoying its throne of being the number one search engine.

Well, no is the answer for now but you can't predict things. Remember myspace was once very bigger too, so was the digg. Things happen, either some other company will take over or "internet search pattern" will change in future. Facebook or Even Apple might surprise Google in feature.

Hiii...I would like to give answer to your query. We all know that at present google is the best search engine providing better search results. But this is not necessary that some years later things will be same.May be we can get some better search engine or yahoo+bing come up as better search engine.

Someone here said Facebook... I think they're very far away from developing a quality search engine. If they would come up with something, then it would be way too low tech. They need a huge database and a search engine mechanism to power the searches, rankings...

Yahoo is close to that, but they're somehow not coping...

The biggest chance has Bing. In many cases they have better search results. But Google has better marketing and it will be hard to change.

This is not a Google killer but this new search engine is unbelievable. It is really going to help us a LOT with keyword discovery.

Its really difficult for any new or existing search engines to defeat google until and unless they come out with something new for users.
Google has always been clean, for users as well as advertisers.
There are chances, if Facebook start their own search engine, at least there will be some sort of competition.

The second biggest search engine is Youtube, which is owned by Google.
SO, ITS AGAIN GOOGLE, NOT THE RIVALS!
