New Administrators on infraction frenzy?

    I've been on digital point since 2007.
    In the last 2 weeks I've suddenly taken 5 infraction points - discrepancies about wrong category
    its content with Flash animation , and I posted to Buy/Sell Content. They hit me with infraction claiming it should have been in scripts.
    Its not a script.

    Then infraction for wrong category - the post was for a $1 service. ..posted to buy Cheap Stuff under $5
    Infraction for 1 point claimed it was wrong category. Did I bump an administrator in the virtual hallway on accident or ?

    Anybody else experiencing a high infraction onslaught or am I being Digital Point sniped?

    When a thread is moved, vBulletin software automatically makes an edit note for the thread. There is a note showing your thread was moved.

    On the one hand it is nice to be able to post on a forum where the admins and mods are not running the place like a prison, but on the other hand it does frustrate me at times when members blatantly break the rules and little is done about a lot of them.

    I'm not moaning about the mods too much, I've done their job on other boards and know how difficult it can be. :)

    well the point I'm making is, I've been here since 2007 you've been since 2010 .. I have done a lot of help here in all forums to suddenly be bombarded when after 5 years I only recently started to promote a small portion of my own scripts/progs. DP is usually fair which is why I noticed a sudden onslaught of infractions.

    what I'm referrint to though is a question about where it was.
    It was in Buy/Sell Content. Its a animated digital slot machine for content on your site to draw visitors.

    It was moved to = Forum | Business | Buy, Sell or Trade | Scripts | [WTS] Real digital slot machine!!

    It was moved to scripts. I looked at scripts and thought I'd better not post it there since its more of content than a script. I've posted many scripts before , but I decided this was more of a Content related.
    Is there a thread to help define between Scripts and Content?

    Content is just that... content... words, articles, images, etc. Scripts are something that runs and does something based on some sort of programming logic.

    Geez, what if DP forum didn't even have moderators on here? This place would be a mess and not as big as it is for so many years.

    I've been infracted on here more then 1 time and learned my lesson. I moved on instead of making a big deal out of it. When you been a member on this forum for at least 5 years, you will love the moderators and all the work they do behind the scenes.

    I think they do an important & good job, and this is from someone who received a 3 month infraction the other day for starting a thread in the wrong part of the forum. :D

    You mean in the title? There is only so much one can write in the title. It has a separate sentence in the post highlighting there is a minimum order. I am perplexed.

    If there is a minimum order that needs to be stated in title. Title needs to match info given in body of text. Otherwise title is misleading.
