What else should I add to the header? I know it's quite a bit plain so I'm up for any suggestions. Thank you very much.

nice one rupert. Not too strong and yet project the image of professionalism.

I would place a restriction on how big the signature image can be. Personally I find posting with odd size large images in the signature very distracting and make the thread hard to follow.

Nice design clean and all together pretty good. I like it how I highlight one of the forums and it highlites the whole box.

 

I also really like that. What I really enjoy about the forum is that the length of the posts and how detailed they are.

 

I don't think that I'm making enough money from the advertisements. Are there anything wrong with the ad placements? If so, what should I do? My forum url is http://www.advicethread.com

 

its hard to make good money from forums so i wouldnt be expecting a high ctr if i were you. the placement seems fine. possibly alter the template to be like this site where 2nd post is like a person but an advert.
