    Dear Members,

My site is going in a better way but recently I found that there are some backlinks exist for my site those i don't want. I don't know how those are placed. I used a service from a SEO guy but he is not responding at all.

Is there any way to remove those?

    Please, help.

    regards.

If you had link exchanged for your site then contact to webmasters and If you had done only SEO then not possible, Just leave the work for few week and do quality link building.

    Best of luck

I think you should contact with webmaster from where links are coming and if the spamming links are coming for your website you can send request to Google webmaster tool to remove that.

Only 1 way for you to remove your backlinks is to request each website admins via mail communication and if they agree then they will remove your links.

Cemper sells a tool to identify bad links and ways to get rid of them. You can check that out.

In my experience ... if the webmaster doesn't update his website anymore, there's nothing much you can do. Oh well

Not every website has a Webmaster Tools account. In fact I'd say it's only a small proportion of sites that do. So what you propose would still punish those sites that are 100% reputable yet aren't savvy enough to block spammy incoming links. It's a good idea but an imperfect solution.

if it was your affiliate links, just talk with your network manager to kill those links.
if it was your own site though. your best bet would be to get on google and remove your link.
their new privacy option lets people to prevent bad links from being indexed.
