    I couldnt find anywhere esle to put this thread, so ill get to the point.
    I hear lots of ppl say that "my sit was dugg, caught me offguard, and crashed the site" etc...
    What is a good hosting solution, that can handle lots of simultaneous traffic. With lots of media content being uploaded and downloaded. With no risk, or theoretically no risk of it crashing.

    Yep most big sites use dedicated servers. Prices depends on hardware and softwares that you want on them usually for 300=350$ you will get on good opteron server.

    Dedicated servers are more powerfull since you are going to host your sites only..Dedicated servers are cheap and expensive aswell.It's all depends on hardware etc.

    Does anybody know which companies are known for their reliability when it comes to dedicated servers? I don't have any experience in this field and wouldn't know which is good and which is bad... anybody know?
