Is Google Penalizing Guest Posts?

Hi,
I have been reading a lot about possible penalties google is inflicting on websites for referral links or guest posts. Can someone please shed some light on the same?

 

Its depends on which blogs you are taking guest post. you will analyze many blogs selling cheap posts, they don't care about quality of content and bad neighborhood links. if you publish article on these types of blogs, you surely will get penalize by Google.

 

if you choose a to guestpost on a blog wisely then you will not get penalised.
first of all you must check the page rank of the blog where you are going to guest post.
check the guide lines for guest posting on that blog, if they accept each and every post then you should never guest post there and if they filter and check each guest post and ask you to write genuine content.

 

I don't know because never try. But i heard its good for your backlinks.

 

Don't relies with the PR(May be expired domain ,out put of Massive links
Always choose the blogs which have decent engagment ( Avg comments received in the previous posts,SERP presence for the post titles)

 

Guest posting is great, it is relevant to your niche/website and great for link juice provided there is some from the site you are posting on.

 

IT is based on what blog network you choose, there are many websites with limited amount of blog posts.

 

I agree with shivambest, if you guest post wisely then you shouldn't be penalized. Page is also important and follow the necessary guideline.

 

Post panda, gust post are no more useful.

 

Google does not punish specific link types.

I agree with this guy. Yes you must post relevant guest post to make sure that google will not penalize your website.
