Email Marketing Services vs Email Marketing Software

I am building my mailing list thru email marketing software at present it is very small list so I am not sending any mail to my subscribers but I have a question about email marketing.

Just ask any internet marketer they will say first build email list it is great but everyone recommend buying services like aweber.com, mailchimp.com, getresponse.com etc. These services cost a lot which normally starts from $10 and goes to $500 + per month.

I want to know why to use email marketing services instead of own email marketing software which can be installed on our hosting account and will only cost ones which is between $50 to $500 depending upon software to software.

There are some WordPress email marketing plugins available which can do same job so why to spend monthly when we can get our own software and send unlimited emails.

I know email marketing provide some extra features like templates, email delivery reports etc but these features are also available with email marketing software.

Email marketing software will take onetime affords to setup but after that everything is on autopilot so why to choose email marketing services over email marketing software.

The main reason most people use services like Aweber is because of the deliverability rate of such sites. They spend all their time making sure their emails get to your customers, so you don't have to.

The other issue with hosting your own email marketing software is you run the risk of having spam complaints filed against you and your host shutting you down.

I'm sure some other, more experienced sefl-hoster's will elaborate on the pros and cons of hosting your own email solution.

 

Robert is absolutely right, also Aweber and others are so much easier to use and they take a large part of the work from you.

 

I have used Aweber and it seems like a very good service not to mention very cheap.

 

I have been using awber for years but to tell you the truth Icontact has made some great improvements and cost a little less, so I am thinking of switching to them.

 

If you know how to build your own email marketing software then no need of using email marketing software like mailchimp, aweber

But if you use your own services you need to manage them regularly

By using email marketing software I am just concern about SPAM else I feel we can run mailing list on our own software.

Thanks for informative share. I also like to use the Internet marketing, but often am confused how to define the target audiance? It's hard to know the likes and dislikes by the emails only ( unlike the Facebook and twitter). Thanks.

 

They are simple, faster, with better success rates, hassle free to set up and with great options and settings. plus you dont have to do the dirty work, thats what you pay them for.
