Change in Permalinks Effect SEO?

    Hello, i have changed my website permalinks to %postname% after 3 months now because i am newbie so i found that this does SEO friendly links So now i am having problem with lots of error around 40k in webmaster tools. so i searched a lot and come to solution where i need to add redirect code
     RedirectMatch 301 ^/([0-9]{4})/([0-9]{2})/([0-9]{2})/(.*)$ http://www.sitename.com/$4 
    Code (markup):
    in .htaccess which is working and now all my old links are working with new permalinks. But i want to ask this Does this redirection effect my website anymore.

    I guess that happened because you changed your permalinks after your pages were already created

    Just make sure that every URL that has changed now has a 301 in place to the new URL and you'll be fine.

    It will take Google a few weeks to catch up and process all the changes

    yes I do think changing permalink will affect the seo, period.
