Hi, I have a question about cross talk between languages. It is not rare to see english speaking SEO people working for non-english website. The keyword tool is ok, the tags we might get help but how can they handle social bookmarking, blog commenting, forum posting? is it still beneficial to post foreign keywords in an english environment? Please let me know... Regards
It is not bad but not as effective as you would be doing on the same language. There are many french websites which allow to bookmark and blogs also. All you need to do is put some efforts.
yes of-course you can use english sites for diffrent languages ...one of my french site get the top rank on google.fr with this straitgies. but try to find some more langauge based dedicated sites for work. it can give best & fast result.
It does not sound very ethical to put some signature in French into a English forum or blog or whatever... The purpose of the post is SOOOOOOO evident, how Google is not picking on this yet???
Collect some local directories and bookmarks to promote French version of your website. Create the content in french only (accuracy is must) and promote it using Google translator. Hope it works.
