From here, i would like to share some news and updates of search engines.

For today:

"Google confirmed that they have pushed a panda update(3.9.1). this was actually happened on 19[SUP]th[/SUP] Aug, but was announced yesterday in twitter. there is nothing to worry about the refresh as it is a minor refresh and it affected ~1% of search queries."

Now the SEO needs some more ethical procedures to keep it alive for ever like....advanced link building strategies and other factors. lets start with the most violent part of SEO, link building.

-I strongly believe that there is no place for paid, hidden, porn links to hide from Google. if there is, bring them out.

-It seems the value of .Gov and .edu links goes down and all needed is links from authority, trust and relevance holding domains.

-100 links from one site is not better than 10 links from 10 different relevant sites.

-It is much needed to maintain a healthy ratio between no-follow and do-follow links.

-Do not get links only from home page but also from inner pages.

-Remember linking a site means introducing a neighbor or foreigner to your site. If it holds good qualities, it reflects on your site too and makes it shines well. And if not, only Google knows the answer.

I forgot to mention one of the worthy back link strategy, "Competitor Back link Analysis ". This needs to list out the exact niche relevant competitor websites and their back links. Once you list them out pick out the links that you are lack with and try to get those links naturally. This link building strategy will work effective to reach top of SERP soon and safe.

The company posted the news a few minutes ago on Twitter, saying this update will affect about one percent of search results.Google has confirmed they have pushed out a Panda refresh this past Monday. This updated affected less than 1% of search queries and is a "minor" Panda refresh. We emailed Google, after hearing speculation of a Panda update and Google confirmed it by tweeting it. "Facebook Edge rank"!

This sounds familiar to most of us. It is an algorithm designed by Facebook to decide which is important to a user and which is not to show in users' wall. Based on interaction level with friends it displays the updates on your wall. Even if you are having 200 friends and you are receiving updates from only 2 or 3, it doesn't mean that they are not coming to Facebook but your interaction level is low with them. technically the interaction level between you and your friend is called as "Affinity Score". More the Affinity score, you can see whats your friend on your wall and the same for your friend.

This is the default option(Top Stories) in Facebook while showing the updates on your wall. You can change this option to "Most recent" which shows in chronological sequence.

Google is updating new algorithm on daily basis now it update panda 3.9.1 and after few days it update penguin. This kind of minor changes are not so good google need to update a big algorithm to punish spammers.

 

Panda's & penguin is latest update of Google.

 

Google rolled out panda update which is live on August 20th and it was just an minor update by google and only 1% of search queries noticeably affected.

 

another google update, i would like to track how i would do adjustments if needed
