What's The Best Graphic Format? JPEG, PNG, GIF

    Hi guys I am having this debate with my friend. Which is the best Graphic Format for any graphics. Which ones do you use?

    PNG is usually a higher quality image. However it all depends on what you are using the image for - Website,Print etc.

    PNG is higher quality than JPEG. So, I'd say PNG.

    GIF is generally used for animated icons.

    and for normal use .jpeg is better.

    JPEG is a compressed image format, it is a lossy format.
    It is not good for print etc. Just good for photos/pics/images etc.
    PNG and GIF are other cases. PNG is a high quality image format, used widely for transparent images.
    GIF is used for animated images. But it's quality is lowest.
    For logos and other stuffs, Vector is the best.

    I have to agree, PNG is a great format. JPG can work for most things though you may have to set the quality to a higher value.

    The best quality is BMP. However, as for the best quality for it's size, then I'd have to go with PNG. The difference in quality between PNG and BMP is barely noticeable, yet a PNG is much smaller than a BMP.
