Okay guys, many got hit (including me) when google introduced its penguin algo/update on the month of April. Anytime soon, a penguin update will happen and Cutts says "you don’t want the next Penguin update". It's an interesting read here http://www.seroundtable.com/google-penguin-warning-15577.html ... Any thoughts?
I also saw that today and it's not looking good but SEO change every day so I thing if we keep adapting we will pass trough. So for me is adapt/tune/twist/test/follow the result. My personal opinion, and when I say personal, I mean really personal, and I'm not some kind of guru so take it as it is.... I think it will be about content and linking. It will search the content and your link will get value only if is related to the content. But another personal opinion is that a algo is way far from human so we will find a method to go forward... Second I also say to my self that G do not want to mass up the searches as happened after the penguin update. Thank you.
In my opinion, every update is to clear the spaming websites or websites with black hats, that's to say, clear up the unhealthy websites and make the seoers or webmasters follow the rules. If you have done things right, then you have nothing to worry.
I saw that post earlier. Also Matt Cutts replied in the comment sections. He just gave a hint. "More signals."
Hmmm more signals and devaluation of links from irrelevant contents. That are good insights. Well, how about a percentage that a site should have, let's say a minimum of 10% links coming from related sites? If not, PENGUIN SLAP ! ! !
