Paypal Account Limited--No Steps to remove limitation?

My paypal account has been limited.

It is US based.

I added funds from my US bank to it and now it has been limited.

When I go to resolution centre it doesnt show any steps which I need to complete to remove the limitation.

pls help me.

 

Call them. I had the same thing. My account was limited and there were no steps how to remove it. I sent them documents and called them couple of times and it was all good ...

 

Yap, like iatbm says. Just call paypal customer service, you will know which paypal needs from you.

 

You will probably have to show a lot of documents for identity proof. If you can't then there might be no way out of this. As a suggestion for the future, always sign up with personal information that you can show proof of... that is, in case you didn't already.

 

The fastest solution is to call them and follow their request and you will save.

paypal is horrible. it took me 3 months to get mine unlimited and it became limited because I recieved a payment. but of course them taking your money is for your safety and security

but still it is No #1 ,
One more thing is they give your funds after 180
never steal like other marchant.
So if ever paypal get limited dont panic ,
because if your fund is valid you going to get it

While this is an old thread, I got the problem now and I don't speak English. I can't communicate in English over the phone.

What should I do?

I withdrawn a huge amount to my bank account and they give me security check and limited access to my account.

Why they just give security check. I have an account for very long time and have no problem.

 

if u cant see any steps, it means its permanent limitation & it cant be resolved.
your account is considered closed by PayPal

 

There may be 2 situations. One is that the page will show you 4 steps to provide some proofs(which is not suitable for you). You just need to make them one by one such as ID document, card picture. Another is that issue you met, at that time, you need to call the Paypal, you can find its number at the webpage and informed them all the details they need. Then they will solve it sooner than email process.

 

if you need urgent help you can call to paypal so login your account then go to contact us page then you could see them phone number

 

His paypal acocunt is Us based so no need to wait 180 days . Now usa paypal money can be withdraw after 45 days so if he can not lifted limit can be withdraw his money to us paypal after 45 days .

Also he ill be get emailf rom paypal for withdraw money like thats .... Your money is eligible for wuthdraw

 

Email is not a good way as it lasts longer to solve the issue. Call them directly.

I know this is an old thread, just sharing tho.

You can reopen your paypal account even there is no steps in resolution center. I just got mine reopen after 4 years block eventho since I registered, so basically I never used my paypal account. What I did is contact them in message center since I'm not in US, and the contact number is not available in my country (just avoid got charge for international call). In the message center, there is no option to reopen your paypal, so I just choose topic for become verified. Then you got replied how to become verified, then you replied it by stating that you couldn't find the suitable topic and stated that you don't know why your account is limited and attached a capture of uploaded doc to paypal if you have tried to resolve it before. Then, paypal replied with "We appreciate your interest in PayPal; however, our decision to leave your account in a permanent limitation status is final. PayPal reserves the right to limit access to any account reported to be involved in possible fraudulent or high risk behavior." (I ain't involved in fraud) Then you reply it by stating that it's not resolve the case. Here, you stated since when it got blocked, your assumption why it got blocked (In my case, I told them my experience using Paypal from other country) and stated that I'm not involving in fraud. and this is the last part of my replied message "... So, how do I resolve this? and what is the real reason my account is limited since I am not involved in fraud? please define what kind of possible fraudulent or high risk behavior in the message before?" Then paypal replied that you need to follow steps in resolution center and submit several doc again. You acquired those document and uploaded to paypal, voila that's my effort to restore my account. It took around 2 weeks to restore it including go to bank and such other things.

You should make a phone call.

 

There are plenty of reasons for account limitation. Did you get any email from them?
