how much money do you make (per month) off your DP signature?

Awesome said buddy. People don't know the actual value of a signature.

 

i never really thought about making cash off my signature mainly due to forum TOS violations. i have a question: When a forum has a strict TOS on signatures how do you make money then?

 

Seem most of people getting the same result.
Quite surprise with it while digital point load of traffic but most people can't make any money in this forum .
DP trying hard to suggest user to place ads on their site, it seem like no one going to advertise it after saw this result.

We do okay- it's another source of converting traffic. Shouldn't be your only goal though- you certainly won't retire off it!

Nothing at all yet. I'm planning to get posting a lot more round about the forums, and then I'll advertise my signature for sale.

 

I'm going to have to go with Bkkguy on this one. I have been using forum sigs for a few days now and I get 0 clicks, so for me it's not really something I'm going to bend over backwards to do. So, if you are getting clicks and selling stuff consider yourself lucky.

 

Getting somebody to click on your signature when there are hundreds of others is an art. You just have to use the proper wording that will catch their attention.

 

lol I refuse to use the hypnotic copy to get people to click, but don't get me wrong if I get desperate I will. I mean it's like people are like zombies these days and you can't be direct with them you have to add fluff to even get their attention. I don't know what's wrong with the world.

 

I've never tried to make money with the help of signatures because, I wish to contribute the community first then the promotions/earnings.

I don't have an issue with clicking, I am having issue with people using something being offered for free like there was absolutely no use for it in the business they do (or they don't do anything just hanging around and shooting the crap)

 

The only rule about signature at DP i know about is "don't ask to check your signature" in your posts. Anything else is good (except obviously porn/illegal/etc)

 

If you are commenting trying to make money instead of giving back quality content then you are always going to have a hard time making money! If you look at it as how many people did I help out with a good answer today? Then money will come ! Give people what they are looking for and in return you will get what you are looking for!

If the DP signature link leads to a direct sale, it can be worth $100s or even $1000s. The one good thing about using the signature is that it brings targeted audience to your site, and then there is a high chance that someone from that audience will purchase your services

for me it is between 10 and 25 USD when the signature link is sold, which it is as you can see

I guess the rational of stating "I am doing $300 with my signature" is to say "you really want to click my signature to see what is that I am doing".
