I will again say to users dont use these gigs, they can give u short time benefits and disadvantages in long terms.I always says no can beat google, google is father of all, he even know every single backlink you made,so in start u can get increase in traffic. But when google notifies it that backlink are not natural,it damage ur business. The gigs u are showing is totally wastage of money.I dont believe it will increase traffic.

A 300 word blog post, custom written in good English for your specific keywords, on a relevant PR2 or better blog site, with natural looking links, may be worth a lot more than $5. That is one of the few gigs I have found to have value. Be careful. Nine out of 10 gigs are not worth it for positive SEO value.

I've heard both good and bad things about Fiverr. It seems a lot of people are using the site.

Fiverr is 90% Garbage 10% gold. If you think its 100% garbage, then better for me, more gold. For example, Citation Creation gigs save me sooooo much time.

Fiverr is a market place with millions of Gigs, you'll find both low quality an high quality product and services for $5 so you have to be wise enough to carefully pick up the best services for you.

isn't buying links for the hopeful purpose of manipulating google results a bit outdated anyway?

Well I think this post is too old to reply but still I saw the conversation and thought I would make clear few things.
My First blog was screwed due to thousands of crappy backlinks from fiverr.
My second blog got PR3 in 4 months due to fiverr.
The difference is in choosing the correct gig there.
Instead of buying 6000 PR6+ Backlinks I would prefer 5 PR6 backlinks or Even 1 PR6 backlink if it is worth it. I generally contact the seller and ask for the link of the website where my backlink would be placed and if I get a reply then I check the details and history or that website myself and Once I feel that I found a diamond I just go for it even I get a single Backlink.
Building backlink is not a single day job it can take months or even years the thing that keeps you inspiring is the hope that you will get the return or You are already getting returns.
Thats all... Let me know if any confusion.

I would like to agree with bashishtha. I have been using Fiverr now off and on for about 2years and there is some gems out there as well as a lot of crap. You just need to find the gems and your be sorted.
I use them to rank YT videos and for my main money sites and have never had a problem, you just need to research before you buy, just like with anything else online.
What you have to remember is that some of the people on there are from third world countries with no welfare state and for them to earn $4.00 for doing something that might take them an hour is like amazing to them.
So to sum up don't knock Fiverr embrace it but do TAKE CARE.

It is true - first I bought the spammy backlinks and it did not help my website rankings any bit. However, there are still some good gigs on Fiverr that I like especially the design and video parts because those people work so hard to get $5, well worth money spent.

Great Post, i am myself using Fiverr, but its so difficult to find a good Gig, where you only get 2 or 5 or 10 links or, comments, or value, most of the are 100s, or 1000s, which is a big no no.

use Fiverr or similar small jobs websites, just use your brain.

Another thing, I notice that most of Fiverr buyers tend to buy from those gigs which offer in quantity and yes, as you can see - the result does show everything - they are just cheap for a reason.

Yes, Fiverr can help you if you managed to get manual work, so it is all about finding the seller who provides manual work, whether it is in less amount, it would work good, but any automated thing is not going to work.
