It seems like you want material on financial advice, more than simply anecdotes of financial success?

Hey Yorker - I don't have anything new to add but I'll ditto Rich Dad Poor Dad - just read it. It's kind of inspired me to use my head, to stop hoarding my money in a no-return savings account and take a few calculated yet gutsy risks with at least some of it (I bought robot stocks last week), and I am now constantly asking myself "How can I find a way afford property investments" as opposed to "Screw it. No way I'll ever be able to afford property past my house". I'll see about getting passive income off my website, but it needs a lot of TLC yet. Also wondering - can income-generating websites be bought? Never really looked.

Thanks Getrich. I read "Think and grow rich" and I agree!
Richard Branson sounds like a very interesting guy as well - so will definitely check him out.

About the Rich Dad Poor Dad series, I feel like after you read one book you've read them all. I read "Retire Rich, Retire Young" and "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and felt like they were 85% the same. Same goes to the other ones in the series I skimmed through - but that was years ago.

Money is needed to make money. Reading books about how to become rich is just a waste of time if there is not enough money to try something.

Not sure if I have really read any books related to financial success as such but I recently did a summarization job of a Jay Abraham book called 'Money Making Secrets of Marketing Genius Jay Abraham and other marketing wizards', which was rather interesting and made sense seeing how many of those strategies we actually come across everyday everywhere. Good examples and success stories in it.
