    When same contents came from different url, these are considered and duplicate content and this is a subject of penalty by Google.

    Duplicate content is the content which is updated more then one source. So, If you submit one content to 2 or more website then it is called duplicate content. I hope it will help you to know about duplicate content.

    if text and images are copied from other websites that is called copy content and you can check your copied text just copy four to 5 lines from one paragraph and past it is Google search and see if this be copy then will appear in bold text.
