    Write Meta Title tag with your most important keywords (within 65-70charecters). Write your Meta Description Tag with some important keywords (within 152 characters). Add H1, H2 & H3 Tags.

    -Use hyphens in place of underscores in your URL's
    -Write image descriptions
    -Keep your content updated
    -Create links with other sites

    You may start promoting using social networks such as Facebook which is free. Do some article marketing (though you need to write some articles for this) of which you can then submit to Article Directories

    First you go through with your website look & feel, find out errors in HTML, CSS, broken links, spelling mistakes, sentences etc. If you website is free from these errors, now come to the on-page and off-page work. To know more about on-page and off-page work read some articles on Google.

    First of all go to your onpage. put everything details according to your Keywords. put Meta Tittle Tags, Meta Description for your site. Put h1, h2, h3 and Alt tag.

    -Apply H1,H2 and H3 tags to use it with keywords..
    -Optimize your Image "ALT" tags..
    -Write and Publish some Articles related to your site..
    -Apply some social Networking tactics..
    -Do Niche Blog-Commenting, Social Bookmarking..
    -Remove Broken Links from your site..
    -Create Sitemaps and submit it to different search engines...

    You need to do a lot of works. Some of those are; user friendly navigation, proper meta tagging, creation of site map etc. Besides those, start developing quality back links.
