Hi Guys, As i am new user in digital point, I have an question about difference between do-follow and no-follow sites, and i heard that do-follow is much beneficial for Article submission. Thanks
Do follow are those links which is indexed by google. no follow are those links which is not indexed by google.
Wrong @OP, Google index both the types. however in nofollow link Google won't pass link value to hyper linked document.
Do follow will be indexed by Google and No follow means not indexed. Google never consider No follow.
Do follow links are crawled by Search engines while no follow are not crawled. Do follow one are good for getting ranks while No follow are not good for generating ranks but are got at generating traffic.
Do follow is great to link to high page ranking pages on other sites and allow the search.I personally believe that blog comments should be DoFollow because it builds a better sense of community and Bloggers helping Bloggers.
Hey guys, Now i am going express my views- Dofollow- Google follows that links. Nofollow- Google does not follow that links. Thanks
Google and Yahoo do not treat no-follow lins the same way. While both search engines index the do-follow links Google does not care about no-follow while Yahoo keeps track of them and therefore they affect your ranking in Yahoo search.
hey frnds.. see Do follow links are crawled by major Search engines like google, yahoo, bing while no follow are not crawled. Do follow are good for getting ranks and pr while no follow provides only random traffic which is nt long lasting.. so go 4 do follow links.. u can generate organic traffic via forum posting, directory submision, blog commenting, socail bookmark sharing site.. forum posting and directory submission is most imp as it helps in incresing traffic and creating link.. do blog commenting on sites similar to your website niche.. happy blogging...hope it helps you...
when a Google bot find any do-follow link on the page, it crawl that linked page and pass the link juice. and when Google bot find a no-follow link,it doesn't crawl that linked page and don't pass the link juice.
Do-follow & No-follow:- Do-follow like SEO spiders analyze the whole material on your website such as pictures, links, keywords etc.Whenever they find a we-blink,if the we-blink is do-follow we-blink then the spiders examine the website and position on other website. If you want to get specific in search engines and position incredibly on search engines then you have to concentrate on these do-follow back back-links. No-follow No follow back-links are ignored by Google search engine optimization spiders.Whenever you are connecting to any website which is not of high value then use rel="no-follow" feature in your code of the web site..
Majority of the posted answers are false. I don't know how people can give such vague statements. Google can crawl and index both types of links. The only difference is it won't pass link juice and anchor text value to hyperlinked document. It is not directly associated with traffic. It's associated with keywords' ranking. in 2005 yahoo and Google started recognizing nofollow tag. so when it comes to ranking nofollow is useless for Google and Bing (yahoo).
It is a minor difference between both. like : dofollow links those which links crawled by google crawlers and nofollow links google crawlers does not crawled but after penguine update Google guidelines says that doesn't matter that links is dofollow or nofollow if your all links in dofollow then google does not count these all links is made by natural ways.
Both links are indexed by Google but there is a difference to how they help your site in terms of SEO. dofollow links pass so link juice to your site and is seen as a backlink by Google but the nofollow instructs search robots not to pass on any link juice to the site and of course, it means it won't count as a backlink. It only give you exposure and traffic(if the site is popular). Putting up articles in places like EzineArticles could help pull a lot of link juice because it is a PR6 article directory. Press releases also do good as they easily get indexed.
