How many Backlinks needed for Page 1 of google?

Actually one of my website is offfline since 1 year and i got around 3 million backlinks to that website and in that around 2.5 million backlinks are DOFOLLOW backlinks.

The keyword im targetting has a website on page 1 result 1 which has got around 10 million backlinks.
The keyword im targetting also has a website on page 1 result 9 which has got only 100 backlinks.

So i dont understand

if my website comes online, will i get into result 2 or 3 or atleast page 1

 

There is no answer for such question ...

 

Not the number of the backlinks counts but their value. It's one thing to have thousands of backlinks coming from forum profiles and a whole other thing to be featured in a reputable website.

Also off-page seo is not the only factor to ranking.

That's absolutely right, there is no fixed number of backlinks attaining which you will be able to achieve a certain ranking. It is the value of the backlinks and on top of that there are many other aspects depending on which the websites are listed with respect to their ranking. So, it is not just the quantity that counts but the quality of the quantity.

different keyword have different competition, and this absolutely require both of Q.

I can tell you their have not google insider able to tell you what will happen to your site.

Only the back links can't fetch you good rank alone. There are other factors also which also contributes. Google's algorithms are changing continuously so have to work accordingly.

 

Actually there are no require number of backlinks to have a PR. my blog has PR but no backlinks. it's about the content and traffic.

You mentioned like few mil backlinks right?
My answer would be no! 90% of these backinks are probably bought and made by some certain way that new google algos will catch on. And you never mentioned if domain is still the same. Site with domain xxy.com and yyx.com aint the same. And meanwhile domain lost its age factor ect. ect...
It also depends on quality and amount of texts...
And why even ask? get the domain, bring site back online and see it for your self. It`s the same question as: if i buy tomatoes seeds from you, what will i get? 4 tomatoes or 22 ? got my point ?

 

You have lots of back links of your site, Its not sine that you will get the rank on Google in SERP 2, 3 or 4. Does matter the quality, it's been must for every website.

 

The number of backlinks dnt count fr getting on first page...
the quality of backlinks count...if the quality of your backlinks is standard..
sure ur website will be on the frst page..bt if not then it results differ...
For ranking on google's frs page generate the organic traffic via
forum posting,directory submision,blog commenting,socail bookmark sharing site..

It depend upon which keyword you are using and how many backlinks your competitor have.

 

I would suggest you bring the site back online and give it a couple of weeks for Google to rediscover it and index it up then see where the land lies.

Once you have done that start looking at building a small link campaign and scale it up over time.

Ranking and backlinks actually depends upon the niche of your website. A website on a topic, which few talks can rank on page 1 within months, compared to other niches which are highly dense.

 

Back links quantity does not matter but back links quality is matter, if you want to get top ranking in organic listing then your website should have do follow and no follow both kind of links ..
