Okay - I offically hate my site now. SaverSites.com

I like the way it looks...except that I feel that it looks like I'm STUFFING it with all kinds of crap.

I need some fresh eyes -
I have no clear call to action
It takes several clicks to get to any "Purchase This" type links
If I came to this site surfing, I'd click right off (some web designer huh - :()

    Should I:
    A) Split off my Ebay stuff and web design stuff into seperate websites
    B) See if I can stuff about 3 more pages of junk into each page
    C) take this whole design and toss it in the garbage
    D) take up knitting and give up on website stuff

What's so bad about it? It's a nice looking site. I don't have any complaints but I am still learning a lot myself, maybe someone else will have answers to your questions, but visually it seems fine to me.

I don't think it is that horrible either.

For me, it doesn't draw my attention anywhere...the colors match a little too well.

Use a little more white space to divert attention.

What is the main goal of the site? Get that into perspective and your site should follow.

AfterHim - thats it EXACTLY!! Thats what I told my wifey.

I have been so busy with stuff - I just can't get my brain from one gear to the next sometimes. I need to make a specific and effective 'Call to Action' - I mean as it is the site is all over the place and nowhere all at once :(

just can't wrap my brain around it right now.

I'll get back to it after a good nights sleep...I think I have one scheduled early next month - yippee 3 weeks and I'll get to sleep more than 4 hours in a row!! :D

Your site is like a martigrass party..you have all sorts of colors and shapes and icons, links thrown about. Keep the design simple instead of cluttered. You have too many packages floating around so it get confusing.

Who is your customer? I assume people with 100+ ebay sales who have done well and are looking for a way to sell more product. They probably already have auction management software and have probably experimented with standard auction templates. However, they are not likely to appreciate the subtile differences between the products you are offering. I would remove the hours of development time in your product descriptions.

I assume you have at least one ebay store; how about using that as an example? Here is the link to my store, notice the logo, here are links to current auctions showing template examples, etc. Maybe also some links to powerseller's stores that are good examples.

I would dumb it down and remove most of the choices. I suspect many potential customers will have no idea of the difference between a template, a logo, and a webpage :)

Your sites are very pretty, much better than I can do, but remember that many ebay sellers still struggle with basic listing chores and are already seriously pushing their limits.

I may be wrong about your target market but I have noticed that for me, writing is lots easier if I can visualize a customer in my mind while I write.

MHdoc - Right on - some great 'point of view' advice. Makes perfect sense.

I'm going to try some things and see what I can come up with. ;)

    Thanks

Okay I made some changes to the site.

    Most obviously the home page:

Removed the 4 square images for each category crap
Placed a single more compelling image linked to the appropriate pages for each category

    That's a start, but...

In the first product cell we see

"Web design as low as $250." "...website starts at just $350." Even though the "one page site" is in bold I missed it the first time through.
What does Monster Commerce have to do with affordable sites?
"See all of our affordable design services..." pulls them away again.

I lean toward a more direct approach.

Need a website? Got $350? We can have a nice looking five page site published and working for you in a week. Here are links to a few we did. If you like what you see, give us a call.

in general it looks well, but you can always improved
i have not readed the other posts, but here are my suggestions for the home page:

    - the logo is nice, but it is in the wrong place... I had to search hard for it.
Maybe you could put it on the top, right there on the white space where it says "HOME"

    - The main photo is very nice but it is so strong that it becomes the main attraction of your site, the place where I put my eyes on... since it is just a picture, you don't want that.
Maybe you can put a bit of transparency there.

    - "Affordable Website Design" and all other titles could be bigger, and should be a link instead of the "see all our..." link

    - maybe you could add a smalll print screen of how the sites would look along with the main images of each product... that's what we would buy after all, right?
I see you added them on the footer, but I did not see the title since it is gray... i only looked at the "contact us for..." title

    hope it helps!
