This helps I think. Find out which pages rank well for some product name keywords say for example www.prweb.com repeatedly appears 1st page for different product name keywords so it is good to use such sites to get similar results.

THe other thing is if you think you can push your site to the top, use .gov and .edu backlinks. This still works. Outsource it in fiverr.com
