    It depends, some article websites allow you to have max 3 backlinks in the text and another 2-3 in the resource box. You need to read the specific article directory rules before submitting as they my reject your submissions. Cheers

    My Opinion is you put 2 links in Author Box..that's enough not put in body b'coz its promotion of your site and many article site rejected after submission ...b'coz u put link in body so for SEO point of view please u get author box so please add the links in author box..u can't show author box in article site ...that time you add link in article body...this is my knowledge about article submission....

    According to my experience, in an article, the less the links are, the more the worth of your link is.

    I use maximum two and minimum one link in an article.

    Mainly its depends which website you submit your articles & how many links they approved. But i recommended maximum 3 links is add in the article.

    putting 2-3 links in different paragraphs of article is fine.Use different anchor for every link.It will get you good link juice

    Two links are best for visitor and crawler but put both links with different URL and your links should be entice to visitor to click on that links.

    It depends on your options, if you are writing for your own website then you may put as many relevant links you can. But if you are publishing on some other website like article directory they have their own rules. Most of them don't allow you to put link in the first 100 words and the maximum number of links they would allow is 2 or 3 depending on the size of your article.

    That's what I have said :) Do not risk to put anymore anyway as they may reject your submission. Use 1 link for the source article, 1 link for your main website and 1 link for anything. Hope this helps!

    I usually put 2 per article. You could get away with 3 on some sites/networks. If you're just submitting to regular article directories, go with 2 html links in the author bio.

    Usually not more than 3 , and i usually place one on the second paragraph , and the other one in last two paragraph and one would be at the ending which mostly come with some call to action.
    Too much hyperlink or link in one article will cause too spammy and Google might take it as non quality article.
    Try not to place link in the 1st paragraph as well which look like over desperate for people to click your link.
