start with using alexa browser. U can also have ur friends using it and get them to visit your site a few times a week. this should boost up ur alexa ranking. also, u can have ur site in ur signature. most of the users of dp use alexa in one form or another. therefore, there is a good chance that u might receive an alexa boost through them. good luck
Well, its fairly clear... Ignore Alexa and your life will be much better. A good idea might be to focus on Google.
I think newbies when they start thinking about Alexa Ranking and google or yahoo ranking and not seeing there website up after 1 month or so ... need to rethink there strategies.... For Internet Marketing , Search Engine Optimization or Search Engine Marketing the most importatnt thing that I consider is " PAITENCE" it doesn't happens over night ... and looking at those stats will get you down which you don't need in the begining of your venture. So stop concentrating on Alexa , or SERPS and start focusing on your content and traffic, focus on your audience what might interest them and work on social networking cause in the start you won't get much traffic from search engines so social networking sites come in handy they give you tons of traffic and if your content is interesting enough they will stick .... Yeah there are little tools to increase your Alexa ranking, but it's just a temporary ego booster or bragging tool anyway... it doesn't really mean anything. I would just focus on building traffic through organic SEO/PPC and other advertising and promotional methods.
yeah right, i think focused to google is better thatn increase Alexa ranking. And like seofanatic said, just focus on building traffic using natural SEO. And i still learn for this. So, keep learn natural SEO.
install alexa toolbar in all systems in your company, at your friends house, at your home pc and in internet cafe, it will also help.
the usual question that I always asked is, why do you want to increase your Alexa Rank? If you want to have high PR, alexa rank won't help you. If you want a better SERP, alexa rank won't be able help you also. so it depends on your reason/s, but it's possible to increase Alexa Rank.
