high domain PR but no backlinks or alexa - huh ????????

    I have seen some domains with high Pagerank, but they have NO backlinks and NO alexa count.

    How is this possible ??

    (the PR is valid ive checked)

    yes it's possible but through illegal means...that is through hijacking other domain's PR.

    What is the PR of that site? I have also seen many sites having PR6, PR7 and even PR8 with 1 or 2 backlinks.

    Alexa ranking and Google PR is different to one another. Some sites which doesn't have any PR can stay in the top 100,000 in Alexa.

    Without back links is there any way to get PR4 or 5? I don't think that is possible. Could you please share url for such sites? May be there is something other ways to make PR that is still unknown to us.

    Can't see how that's possible...If u don't mind can I have a look at ur site ....The only option that seems possible is an old Domain with some quality content....else without backlinks I don;t see any reason to have such PR..
