Change Meta tag is helpful or not?

Dear Friends,

I am doing SEO for one website. the changes in meta tag again and again is helpful for my website ranking or not?

NOTE:
here i am talking about to change the on page data, not off page submission data.

Dont change your meta tags regularly ....if your site new site or newly added meta tag, if you did not get any visitors means change one time your meta tags after that don't change your meta tags

Changing meta tag is not good, just make final meta tags for your site after analysis all keywords. Because updating meta tags regularly will effect your keywords ranking on search engines.

Changing meta tags is not good. it will drop the ranking of your page.

 

If you are regularly change mata tag of your site it is bad for your site because it is effect on your site ranking.

 

You should create title search engine friendly by using keywords and don't keep changing to title it is not a good way to optimize a website.

If your site is just 1 to 2 months old and your metatags don't give any positive then you can change the metatags. But remember you must use those keywords which you use before. It change your keywords ranking.But if you totally change the keywords then the ranking of those keywords is gone from google search. You must use the white hat seo technique for metatag creation.

 

Why would you want to change it often anyway? If you did your meta right, you won't have to change it and you won't lose any position for the keywords you already ranked for.

 

First of all meta keyword tag, google don't use this, but bing,yahoo still use it as a ranking factor. It is hidden from user.
Changing Meta description, may affect your ranking. It may increase CTR.

 

Answer is very simple for you! If you are changing subject of content on page so, you have to modify your title tag. I want to give one example for better understanding. Right now, your page is about SEO services. Now, you suppose change content and develop associated to PPC so, you have to change your page title.

Are you doing it with your page? Honestly not! So, you don't need to change your title tag. SEOmoz SEO blog is best example for you. That page title will never change. But content on that page may change due to recent blog post. But, subject is associated to SEO. I hope it will work for you!

Yes change in metas do reflects in rankings... Note here that it may effect positively and negatively depending how you have optimise the site..... But the answer to your question whether the changes (frequent changes) to meta tags has any impact on website ranking (Yes)
