Hello, try selling through NameCheap Marketplace, it's really good.

They protect you against chargebacks, and it all, so you are fully protected from anyone trying to forge your domain, they handle payment and don't have any charges. All it is that the domain has to be with the NameCheap registrar, but that is more protection because they can secure your domain name if anything appears to be false.

    Good luck.

Well my point is that it is completely without risk for you if you just adhere to the following two rules:

    1: Get payment first.

2: Use moneybookers standard service or paypal masspay service for collecting payment.

Then you got the cash home. Safe as escrow.

What is wrong with Sedo? I was thinking about selling a domain worth 3K that way, please advise if there is any problem with Sedo.

one can use escrow service for bigger transactions. I have good experience with Moniker escrow and escrowdns.com

They secure the domain from seller, secure the payment from buyer and transfer domain to buyer and money to seller. Its so simple

Personally I have never used Sedo's escrow service except when my domains are sold through Sedo. It works alright, but when I sell domains on my own I generally use one of 2 different escrow services:

Escrow.com is the service I use when the buyer is a business owner unfamiliar with domains. It's very professional and flawless.

eCop.com is the service I use when the buyer is more familiar with domains. Francois, the owner, is a great guy -- well known in the domaining community. I believe he operates Domaining.com as well. Since he is French, the language on eCop isn't always perfect English. But the site is quite secure.

I used Moniker.com's domain escrow service for domain sales higher than $1K , they charge $75 fees for 1K domain but I had peace of mind and got my cash to PayPal after a week after successful domain transfer. I have not used escrow.com yet.

Escrow is best and safest way to buy-sell domain as well as website or there materials online…Escrow handles most of the big online trades…even if you use sedo or flippa to buy sell or trade your domain name or website you can use Escrow to make the deal safe and smooth….if you can afford use Escrow…
