But are this links paid or free?

 

I read a while ago in this SEO e-book that if alot of non releveant sites link to you, your Google PR will drop. Surely, that's what happens when you submit it to all those blog directories, etc.

So on overall, ideally, you wouldn't want spammy and low PR sites to link to yours, right ?

Do you mean the Google toobar?If so,just download it and it will automatically be installed in your firefox browser(I don't know for other browsers).
