    Superb actually i was suffering forum for some doubts in sitemap and saw these FAQ which gives all my solutions of my questions. whole credit goes to "ssandecki" thanls for sharing such knowledgeable views and facts. Now i can use site map for my site as i got to know the importance of site map in the website.

    1. Upload your Sitemap to your site.
    2. On the Webmaster Tools home page, click the site you want.
    3. On the left-hand menu, click Optimization, and then click Sitemaps.
    4. Click the Add/Test Sitemap button.
    5. In the text box, complete the path to your Sitemap (for example, if your Sitemap is at http://www.example.com/sitemap.xml, type sitemap.xml).
    6. Click Submit Sitemap.

    I watched two identical sites, using Google Webmaster, and the one site with a Sitemap.xml got more pages indexed than the one without the Sitemap. Not surprising, but the conclusion: Sitemaps can get you better indexed (which doesn't mean you rank higher on the SERP!).
