    I agree with @ $1000 for the domain name. Maybe more for the domain with the site, depending on traffic and how many members it has.

    Low end 750
    Top end 1500

    Holding out could get you higher $ but it could take a while. It appears someone bought excites.com for 5k in 2006 altought I think they overpaid heavily!
