Jonchun: ok, in good faith the facts... one last try :)

    a) canaryspace forgot to change his payout email late 2011
    b) we have sent money (the total amount of all payments in 2012 is around $40) to the old email
    c) he now says: i have not received it
    d) our support guys tell him: damn, we can send you the last ones and go back further if it is a lot, because we have to check on each single payment (and there were some with 1 cent)
    e) he sends over that he wants 500$ or he will go public with it
    f) we deleted his account for blackmailing
    g) he sends us mails with death wishes and calls us "na*i c*nts" because we are German
    h) we all end up here, you support him

and there is really not much to say about it. Ask the 30,000 other merchants on tradebit if there is anything to add.

From your side of the story, it does seem as if the OP is being biased. However, perhaps some screenshots will clear this up? Just show a paypal screenshot with a "find a transaction" pointed at his old email.

Thank you Jonchun, if I could give you creditability on here, I will.

    This is exactly what happened...

1, I didn´t change my payment email back in November, when I should have.
2, Tradebit, according to my deleted account, owed me around $500, they would have to pay someone to look for this, when it was already in my account!!
3, My original email, the very first contact, "Sorry I didnt change my email, all payments have gone back to you, can you please pay me from the day I changed my email."
4, The reply, "We can not do it because it will take too long, and you know how slow Paypal is?"
5, My reply "Just pay me what you owe me and we will call it a day".
6, Tradebit = "We have deleted your account because we do not tolerate threats!"

So there you go, want to see proof, anyone? You are more than welcome.

The amount is just not true... we noted every payment that went out to the email that supposedly was not active. In November 2011 there were no sales. And since the owner allows it:

is directly from our database log of all outstanding payments that were sent to the expired email. If that all really bounced and you sum it up... how do you end up with $500? That is all together in an sum for around 16 payments well under $80 and you have been able to see it... I can also list every single payment for your files with the buyer, but that is not ok for privacy. So, if canaryspace REALLY did not get the money (which would mean we have to create a log on paypal for bulk payments, check for bounced entries and list those - which takes more than an hour), we would owe him around 80$. He started to threaten us for $500... and that is just plain wrong... now show me the proof!

These dates do not add up at all! I was making a lot more than this. The only reason I said $500 is because from November, this is about what I should have earned, so you are basically hiding earnings, anyone could make this crap up! Also, I thought it would take you too long to work out how much I am owed?! You apparently just did it in no time, although these earnings are wrong. If you think it is $80, then just pay it, if you dont pay it then bollocks to you, just shows how big of a scam you are running.

There is no denying the fact, I asked to be paid only what I am owed, you wouldn´t tell me how much I was owed, I made a guess on the average monthly payments previous to November, which should have been around $500, but if you say it as $80, then fking just pay it up, it is owed to me. Also, you deleted my account BEFORE I asked for $500 and BEFORE I was rude, you are a fking scam, just face it. Nothing you say is going to get you out of this.

TRADEBIT.COM = SCAM RAN BY ASSHOLES.

this is, very you are wrong. we talk about account "si0077", right? that was id "1990" in our system and i have the log here. I will email you the detailed list of all buyers, if you like (and give me a working email address). If you find one sale that was not recorded in that list and sent the money to us (without chargeback) for your files, you can give me the first 4 letters of the email and I will publicly apologize (and probably go and take a coding lesson in PHP)...

Sounds like a pretty big misunderstanding to me. But I'd be rather pissed off if a company wouldn't check up on records because "it takes too long"

Einheijar: i totally understand, why he is pissed. Yet we owed him $80 and were in the middle of talking to him when he started to ask for "$500 or will go public with it" and build squidoo lenses and what not to draw our brand down. In that moment we killed the account. And I would do it again. We might be a bit strange, because we are German and my mother tongue is not English, but I understand well when I am blackmailed.

You deleted my account when I requested to be paid! This is why I threatened you and got very pissed off! Do you understand that? I ask for money that is owed to me, you tell me it will take to long and I am not getting paid and then delete my account! I HAVE A GREAT REASON TO THREATEN YOU AND BE MEGA PISSED OFF! Now are you going to pay me what I am owed or not?

Just to make sure it is not about the money but about principle, we have donated $80 to an UK foundation helping with anger management...

Tradebit are unable to prove anything, a company should always have access to all the proof since its in their database, but instead they are trying to cover it up with some "copy and paste" method that doesn't tell us anything. And donation to some anger management has nothing to do with this case.

Sooner or later this will go viral and people will see that Tradebit.com is a company that is not worth investing their time with.

Still hasn´t paid me and that donation has nothing to do with this thread at all. if AnnoyedCEO is saying that is where my money has gone, then that is a disgrace! Simple thing is this, Tradebit.com owe me money and they still have NOT paid me!

    Thank you Greige :)

So Tradebit.com give my money away to a charity that I dont give a crap about and then they also send 16,000 porn hits to my main site, click bombing my ads and making my site lose rankings over night! I felt sorry for Tradebit at one point about my rudeness, but after this, Ralf, I hope you lose everything, you should have just paid me and then it would be over, now I am mega angry, you tit.

Normally, I would agree with the company when they give the money to charity, but TradeBit, that was seriously a douchebag move. That type of move ONLY works when the company is not at fault at all, and some guy is demanding a refund. In this scenario, but parties clearly were partially at fault, and you still owe the poster money, whether it be his fault or not.

I guess my English is very very bad, you obviously do not understand, what I am writing :-( ... The poster blackmailed AND insulted us FIRST then the whole show started. We have not sent him traffic, but asked a friend, who started an AUTOMATED platform to direct the RIGHT traffic to him as compensation.

His site was full of porn ads before the traffic started, so the platform chose the right channel - sorry - look at your site now. Still full of porn ads.

As soon as he got back to me, we stopped that again. Then I figured that this will never end, so I donated the money to an anger management foundation, who helps people who have anger management problems.

His site is still full of porn ads, from the states counter HE mailed me, the traffic is on the same level and he is still insulting me... As soon as he posted bad, wrong and damaging articles around the web, he made clear that he will not get paid from us.

There is a difference between dating ads and porn ads. Some of the text ads can be bad at times from AdultSense, but having lost my Adsense account, that was the only option for a PPC network that works. You sent me or your mate sent me automated traffic from a porn site that will damage my sites rankings, this has nothing to do with the fact that you owe me money! You sent porn traffic to a chat site that does not allow nudity and is fully moderated, you are a dick for doing this. You are a dick for donating much needed money that belongs to me and my family to an anger management charity, if you are going to be a dick and donate someone elses earnings to a charity without their consent, at least make it a good charity ffs!

You deleted my account before I went angry on you, I simply asked for my earnings because my Paypal account had changed. Anyone in the entire world would surely be pissed off and angry should their earnings be refused and account deleted along with all their files, that are supposed to be safe with your company.

    Hi,

While I am not completely sure what the true facts are with Johnchun, Greige and Canaryspace's issues here and their claims, I can tell you for sure that our experience to date with Tradebit has been strong. They are a very strong and reputable company in the digital market place, it gives less techie folks like us the opportunity to publish and sell their products easily and quickly. We have yet to notice any such issues with transactions as noted above. As one of their 30,000 + customers now at Tradebit for over 5 years, I can absolutely positive say that if we ever had any issues or problems and the minor ones that did pop up they were resolved and answered quickly by their staff. As a matter of fact, these guys have a very solid customer support system so it helps.

    Good luck guys.
