I've set up a few wordpress sites now and I would strongly recommend it instead of Blogger. It's much more user friendly and easy to navigate around.

I'd go with WP. With all the plugins for it, I find it easier to use. Overall I think it's a matter of traffic generation. If you're doing good SEO you'll get the traffic.

Both a re good enough. No doubt about it that blogger is the product of Google, but personally i prefer wordpress because its more flexible and a wide range of plugins are easily available which you can use according to your requirements.
    Thanks

so, Blogger is a part of  Google family, that is why i think that it has the advantage SEO wise. In my opinion, Wordpress and Blogger are both  SEO friendly, but Blogger templates tend to be simpler and there are less chances of making it difficult to read for  searching engines. but i think that  your content and linkbuilding strategy should define the choice and your success with the searching engines.

It depends on the ads placement.
wordpress flexible to custom, blogger easy to placement.
and don't forget content is king.

    Hello,
I would suggest that blogger is better than wordpress, because blogger platform is easy to manage.

Wordpress is seo friendly so when you write you blog in wordress it help you a lot. WordPress uses different functions which allow it to be search engine friendly. For example sending pings to other sites, making categories, tagging your posts, use of h1/h2 tags etc.
