I am about to start Google Adwords, but I have little knowledge about it. Could you share some of your successful operating experience? I want to avoid detours. Your advice is greatly appreciated. My industry is comparatively fiercer. The global monthly search of the keywords are very high, some even reach 1 million a month. Of course, i will try some long-tail keywords or niche words. Could you offer me some advice about how to advertise in Adwords?
Hello, As you said that competition is very high on that keyword then its difficult to get 1st place in PPC. But it doesn't mean that you can't get. If you really want to get 1st position then you have improve your landing page, quality score, choose best keyword which describe your landing page. Adwords depends on quality score and CTR. If both are good then you are in top.
I'd suggest a new niche, lol not to be pessimistic but if its that high than it'll be more beneficial to seek out different keywords and work on those as much as possible. Since 90% of all traffic searches go to the 1st post, its basically not your while if your not first in a high ranked keyword rather than working on a lower searched keyword and become first.
Test, Test and Test Bro. Find the keywords that get the high ctr and convert and you'll be good. As far as tips, pick up perry marshall's book of ppc formula 3.o and you'll be alright.
Try reading this manual, it is pretty good: http://lucidwebmarketing.com/Files/Adwords_FAQ.pdf It is posted at one of the forum professional members' website.
I must agree with these friends. First of all you have to select suitable keywords having good conversion rates. Never select the keyword on the bases o searches. This is not necessary, high searches keywords bring huge conversion, yes but they can bring huge traffic on your site, may be that is irrelevant.
I think its best to choose a keyword with least competition ,but the keyword must have its competition in both local and global searches as those keyword shows competition in the market and where the competition is low ,there you can strive less!
Thanks for providing such a great information about PPC I am also looking For this type of knowledge Thanks a Lot
